Majeste Stonewashed Linen
Our Stonewashed Linen is the ultimate in linen luxury because of the linen fibre. Our linen is grown in France which is regarded among the best quality in the world, we work closely with a grower in Northern France to ensure the quality of the crop.

Our linen is then sent to Portugal to be sewn and finished.

I have been researching linen mills for years to ensure we found the very best linen on the market, in terms of quality, texture and hand feel.

Our linen is dyed in a couple of different ways, our sheet sets are made from 185 to 190gsm Linen. The linen fibers are dyed before being woven into fabric and then stonewashed for extra softness. We use only the finest yarns which have gone through an anti-pilling process and pre-shrunk.

Our Linen Duvet covers are garment dyed, meaning the fabric is woven, sewn then dyed before stonewashing. Resulting in a thicker 190 to 200gsm Linen.

All the Linens we stock are made from OEKO-TEX certified linen. The certification ensures the human-ecological safety of textile products in all stages of production (raw materials and fibres, yarns, fabrics, end products). Products that are OEKO-TEX certified are absent of allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals and other harmful substances.

I feel New Zealanders have lost their trust in “French Linen” with 90% of all linens sold in New Zealand as “French Linen” is actually made in China... and I don’t mean French Linen Fabric sewn in China... I know for a fact its milled, woven and completely made in China.

This is why I have committed to being completely open and transparent as to where our linens are made and there origin.

We currently have three ranges of luxury flax linen.
#1 Our Linen fibers are grown in France, milled and woven in France and sent to Portugal for sewing and packaging.
#2 Flax grown in the Baltics and woven, milled and sewn in Portugal.
#3 Grown, milled and made in Lithuania
